About the game
Vintage Story was created in 2016 by partners Tyron and Saraty who, after releasing two popular and successful Minecraft mods, decided they wanted to break out of the limitations of Minecraft and shape their own experience. Since then, the content that has been added to this fledgling voxel game has given it a completely different Minecraft look and feel, with much more focus on foraging early in the game and crafting everything from tools to campfires and more.

Vintage Story is set in an evil universe and you explore it as a big blue creature. Your soul is locked in this shell, and you decide to find the remains of a past civilization. Put the pieces of the puzzle together and find out what caused the death of the previous civilization. On your journey, you will have to overcome countless challenges: fight against wayward creatures, avoid temporal instability, and survive temporal storms.

Vintage Story is a game about innovation and exploration. She pushes players into a carefully generated semi-autonomous world and challenges them to survive and overcome the natural and unknown threats of their new home. Intrepid players who take on this challenge will find a world with its own character and a deep, interconnected narrative within it.
